Cat, Mt. Fuji & Rice Fields Metal Bookmark

The inspiration for this bookmark is a woodblock print by Utagawa Hiroshige - Asakusa ricefields and torinomachi festival, no. 101 from one hundred famous views of Edo.  As an artist, he captured time and mood with brilliant minimalism - a dawn sky, a solitary cat, rice fields, mt. Fuji in the distance, and a woman's clothing.
