Reproduction: This Modern Art animal sculpture was created by the Colombian sculptor and artist Botero. It shows a bulky cat that is sitting on a small bronze base. With his sense for different shapes, Botero made the bronze figure very plain and reduced it to simple geometric forms. The plump bronze also reminds us of a ninepin. This whisical Modern Art figure is made of 100% bronze and has the signature of its sculptor, Botero. This piece is hand-cast the foundry and subject to strict quality inspections throughout the entire process of fabrication. All these sculptures are exclusively compounded with the help of lost-wax casting.
