The Devika Caftan is hand-woven using soft 100% cotton yarn by highly skilled weavers in Eastern India. This fair trade caftan features the classic sari weave of this region, with a golden zari thread border. These weaving traditions are passed down from generation to generation and the entire village is involved is some aspect of production, from spinning and dying the yarn to setting the loom barrels and weaving. These pure cotton caftans are designed for a comfortable free size fit up to XXL size, with side slits and also feature hand-weaving, hand-embroidery and hand block-printing by artisans in each region of India.
