With its distinctive body shape, the humpback whale can range from 12 - 16 meters in length. Their diet consists mostly of krill and small fish. They can be found in oceans around the world and typically feed in polar waters, and will travel to tropical or subtropical waters to breed and give birth. Humpback whales can travel up to 25,000 km each year.
